SAPO now accepts online permit applications from the public available at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nyceventpermits.nyc.gov\/\">E-Apply<\/a>. SAPO applications are reviewed by the Mayor&#8217;s Office, the local police precinct and community board.<\/p>\n<p>Please contact the Community Board Office if you have any questions about the SAPO process, plan on applying for a street closure or event. Once you apply, you will be asked to attend a Community Board meeting to discuss your event. Your application will go to a committee and then full board for a vote.
